Matt Murphy is a professional singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has been a member of the local music community for over 20 years. Whether in a band or going solo, his goal has always been to provide fun and dynamic musical entertainment to diverse audiences by presenting a wide variety of music with a combination of high quality sound, performance, and presentation.  From modern rock to classic rock, 70's funk to 80’s pop, contemporary country to alternative, Matt can not only handle it but also pull it off with style.  See the attached playlist for a selection of Matt’s current repertoire.

♦Entertained military personal on national and international Department of Defense sponsored tours.  Destinations included Alaska, Haiti, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, and Bahrain.

♦Performed solo at the 2006 Fair St. Louis-Live on the Levee summer music festival as headliner on Eads Bridge stage; opened for Sister Hazel and Better than Ezra on main stage.

♦Performed at 2006 Taste of St. Louis on Keener Plaza stage.

♦Solo performance at the 2007 Fair St. Louis opening act for Cindy Lauper.

♦Regular appearances at Parties at the Plaza (Westport Plaza, Maryland Heights, MO).

♦Private parties including weddings, birthdays, university functions and charitable events.

AVAILABILITY

Preferred booking is for “Happy Hour” time slot (Monday-Friday; 4-8PM) but I am also available for other weekday or weekend shows.  Contact me to discuss your specific scheduling needs.
